I am descended from Amos Kilburn #1, #2, and #3. Hannah Kilburn was the dau of Amos #1. There is a deed in Wilkes Co. NC where Ebenezer is giving his wife property that he owns in VA.
I think Ebenezer was getting ready to die and that is possibly why he deeded his land to Hannah. You need to look at the Wilkes Co. NC records for Amos, Ebenezer, and Hannah and then go to VA.
Did you know that Hannah's grandfather was named EBENEZER? I saw a record in Morris Co. NJ in the Rockaway TWP where a Seth Mehurin and Amos Kilburn were donating money to the church. I wondered IF Seth was closer to the Kilburns than I can prove. |
