In trying to figure out the photo I have of Ed Sinn (Senn) and "Jewel":
Ed's death certificate is signed by "Jewel Sides".
I found a cemetery record for Jewel Sides, daughter of Clifton Edwards and Pearl McBroom.
Jewel Edwards was married to Howard Sides in 1965.
The 1930 census lists Clifton as the son-in-law of "Mitten Aldredge" and Mae. Jewel is a granddaughter.
"Mitten" is actually Menton Arledge, step-father to Virginia Matcek, Ed's mother.
Menton's death certificate is signed by "Mrs Jewel Kirk".
Jewel Edwards was first married to Ray Cleveland Kirk.
May is Menton's second? wife and isn't related to Clifton, Virginia, or Ed.
Pearl is May's daughter (May was the person who gave the information for this census).
Is this Clifton Matcek or a different person?

   She was BORN 10/20/1910 in Thorndale to the late M/M. Herbert McBroom. Married Clifton Edwards in 1926 at Rockdale.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, CLIFTON EDWARDS of Rockdale; daughter, Mrs. JEWEL SIDES of Rockdale; foster son, ED SIN of Rockdale; brother, PORTER NICHOLS of Thorndale; 2 sisters, Mrs. SALLIE SMITH of Thorndale and Mrs. ROSIE GRAY of Thorndale; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
