  Mrs. Laura A. Cook, residing at 523 Crosby street, died at 5:30 o'clock this morning of blood poison resulting from severe burns received recently by her dress catching fire while at her home. Deceased was thirty-seven years old. Mrs. Cook was the wife of George A. Cook, a railroad engineer, and leaves besides her husband, a mother, Mrs. Josephine Fuller, two sisters and a brother. She was a member of the Baptist church, also a member of the Adah Chapter, Eastern Star and Maccadoos societies. The funeral takes place at 3:30 o'clock from the late home. The remains will be entered in the Anchor Lodge cemetery.
