  Mr. Abraham Coon died at his home, near Gordon, Sheridan county, Neb., July 9, 1886. He was born in Ohio, September 7, 1820. He, with his parents, moved to Indiana when a boy. After residence there of a number of years, he went to Wisconsin; thence to Iowa, and in the spring of 1886 moved to Sheridan county, Neb. The funeral services were held at his home. Many friends paid their last tribute of respect by their attendance at the funeral. He was laid to rest south of town on the school section. May the bereaved relatives, wife and children find many friends to comfort them in their sad bereavement.
