Garrison, John Duncan
John Duncan Garrison, mention of whose illness of typhoid fever was made in The News last week, died at Godley Wednesday morning. Mr. Garrison had only recently moved to Godley from Pleasant Valley. The deceased was born and raised near Pleasant Valley and had many friends to whom the news of his untimely death came as a shock. The body arrived here on the Santa Fe this morning and will be buried at Pleasant Valley this afternoon. Rev. H. E. Bullock, his pastor, will preach the funeral. The Odd Fellows, Woodmen and Praetorians, of which orders he was a member, will have charge of the burial service. Mr. Garrison is survived by a wife and five small children. The son of W. F. and Nancy Poovey Garrison, he was born at Pleasant Valley July 27, 1882.
