- (Research):89. Louis Vincent MANNING (16) was born on OCT 8 1861. He died on FEB 17 1946. When Louis Vincent was a boy of about six (7/9/1867) he had gone to school expecting it to be a regular day but to everyone surprise the Indians attack the school and their teacher Ann Whitney pulled up the floor boards and sent the children down and to safety. Unfortunately Miss Whitney couldn't get though the small space and was killed by the Indians. Louis was a Saloon keeper, and operated a harness business in Hamilton, TX . when he moved to Ft. Worth he sold real estate.
He was married to ? WEBBER.
Louis Vincent MANNING and ? WEBBER had the following children:
