This paper was dated February 8, 1805 Division of 400 acres of land-the whole of the land of the late William Rigby. Amongst 12 heirs.
Owen Rigby, 200 acres his own and 3 other shares he purchased value $300
Bryan Rigby, Sally Rigby, Catherine Rigby, Russel Rigby, and Rebecky Rigby each got 24 1/2 acres value $73.80.
Abner Hudgings, John Rigby and the heirs of James Quinn each got 25 2/3 acres valued at $102.68 I recognized the names of his children from the postings concerning his will. Who were the rest to the heirs? [Avis Southall]

Junior Anderson has him born in 1705 - a typo?

The personal estate records name John, Jonathan, Charles, William, Ann Hudgins and Sarah [illegible] but doesn't give the name of the daughter who married James Quinn. [Joe Fox]
RIGBY, William (I5265)

7617 There are a lot of records for John McKinnis. The one who died in Washington seems to be correct, he was born in Hancock County at the right time. Unfortunately, I can't find any other information that I know is him. The 1920 says he was divorced but the Vet's Home records say his wife was Marion McKinnis. His death record says Mrs John McKinnis. He and Marian married just a few months after the 1920 census. Who was his first wife? Did he have children?
It's possible that this is the same John who was married to Sarah for 25 years on the 1900 from Boulder, Colorado, but not positive. That John says his mother was born in Ohio and they were in Polk County, Iowa, in 1880. If the Colorado John is ours, then he was probably previously married to Emily and lived in Allamakee County in 1870.

I don't know if his accepted birth date is incorrect or if there was another child born to Will and Nettie. HOLDER, Emmitt Samuel (I1430)
