Services Will Be Held Monday For Victim Of Lumber Mill Accident
MERCED, July 26 ? Funeral services for George F. Pritchard, 37, formerly of El Nido, killed Thursday in a Myrtle Creek, Ore., lumber mill accident, will be held at 11 A. M. Monday in the W. O. Bradford Funeral Home here.
Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
Pritchard, married and the father of three children, left El Nido more than a month ago for Oregon to work in the lumber mill.

Spotswood - Otis A. Ferguson, 81, of 73 Walnut St. died yesterday in Brunswick Park Nursing Home, where he was a patient for one week. Son of the late John A. and Ella (Tice), he was born in Ellenville, New York. He moved to this area in 1946 from Brooklyn. In 1953 he retired from his job as lineman for Con Edison, New York City. He was a charter member of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, East Brunswick, and a member of the Senior Citizens Club. In addition to his wife, the former Astrid Anderson he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grace Selzak and Mrs. Justina Kelly, both of Spotswood; a sister, Mrs. Julia Haugen of Edison; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Carl F. Schmidt, pastor of Christ Memorial Church, in the Eckman Funeral Home, 475 Main St., at 8 p.m. tomorrow. Suzanne Aurilla Talboy died at home surrounded by her family. A private service will be held with inurnment at Olney Cemetery.
Suzanne was born July 5, 1933 in Alameda California to Robert Bruce Bennett & Grace Marie Bennett. she married Robert Gregg Talboy in 1952 in Los Angeles, Ca., and they continued to live in southern California for many years.
Suzanne lived in England for three and ahalf yeas and in Canada for three and a half years while Robert worked as an executive in the Petroleum industry. She was also a real estate agent for 10 years and excelled as a top performing agent while they lived in Clearlake City, Texas. They moved to Pendleton in 1997 to be closer to their daughter.
Suzanne enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, collecting art glass, making dolls, traveling, home decorating, making and eating cookies, carousels, shopping, growing African Violets, and being with her family. She also loved her Burmese cat Bira.
Suzanne is survived by her sister Jackie Pavlovich, her husband, Robert G. Talboy, her children Robert G. Talboy Jr., Sharon Berlie, and Wanda Roe, and her ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The death of George W. Coon occurred at his home in Anthon last Saturday from a complication of diseases, and funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Correctionville, Rev. Bishop, pastor of the Anthon church, officiating. Interment was in the Correctionville Cemetery.
George W. Coon was born December 20, 1849, at Lafayette, Indiana, and died February 10, 1923, of a complication of diseases, aged 74 years, 1 month, and 21 days.
When a small child his parents moved from Indiana to Spring Green, Wisconsin, and resided there until 1869. He was married to Ella E. Skinner October 11, 1868. Soon after their marriage they came to Iowa and settled on a farm near Correctionville, Iowa.
In 1887 the family moved to Buffalo, Missouri, for the benefit of Mr. Coon's health. In 1901 they moved to Anthon.
Survivors are his wife, two brothers, W.W. Coon of Sioux City, J.U. Coon of Chico, California, four brothers having preceded him in death, T.J. Coon of Eureka, Kansas, J.N. Coon of Los Angeles, California, James and John died in early childhood. His two sisters are Mrs. L.A. Robinson and Mrs. Margaret Summers of Correctionville. The children are: W.C. Coon, G.F. Coon, C.E. Coon, E.V. Coon, Mrs. Cora Queener of Kansas City, Mrs. Edna Marsh of Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Irma Coleman, Mrs. Page, Mrs. Bertha Anderson and Miss Verna Coon, also twenty grandchildren, one great grandchild and many other relatives and friends. | COON, George Washington III (I9080)

The death of Mr. George Coon occurred at 10 o'clock Monday evening following an illness of several months. Mr. Coon was born in Wisconsin in the year of 1863. He died at Correctionville May 17, 1920, his age at the time of his death being 56 years, 9 months and 20 days. He is a member of the Evangelical church, of which he was a good and faithful worker. He was kind and loving to all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his death, one brother and five sisters, Mr. Reese Coon, Mrs. John Kenyon, Mrs. William Pilkerton, Mrs. Sarah Patterson of Correctionville, Mrs. Thomas Clark and Mrs. John Clark of Canada. The funeral of H. M. Pittman, who died in a San Antonio hospital Friday, was held Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Kicaster cemetery near Adkins, Tex., about 20 miles north of San Antonio. Mr. Pittman was a Confederate veteran and was 72 years old. He was a native of Mississippi but had lived in Texas for 61 years and in San Antonio about a year. His home was formerly at McGuel, Tex., where he engaged in farming. He is survived by two brothers, S. P. Pittman of Adkins and H. R. Pittman of Duncan, Ariz.; and a sister, Mrs. M. Thomas Brazzil of Nolanville, formerly of Flat, died Thursday, at a Temple Hospital. He was 77.
Services will be 4pm Saturday at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville, the Rev. Jim Brazzil, the Rev. Dean Parmer and the Rev. A.J. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Flint Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Brazzil was born Jan 20, 1918, in Flat, where he grew up and went to school. He served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the USS Dixie.
He married Martha Bratcher on Nov 21, 1945. He was a retired Texas Dept of Highways employee. He lived in Temple before moving back to Flat in 1980.
He moved to Nolanville in 1993. He served as a scout master for 25 years and earned the Silver Beaver Award. He was also a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church in Flat.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thomas E. Brazzil of Nolanville and James (Jim) Brazzil of Liberty Hill; six sisters, Bonnie Williams of Fort Worth, Lois McCutcheon of Gatesville, Sarah McCutcheon of Hewitt, Charlene Neatherlin of Highlands, Gladys Barr and Bobbie Geiselbrecht of Flat; three brothers, John Brazzil of Canyon, J.W.
