  Services for William Darrel Malone, 87, of Little River-Academy will be 10am Saturday at Greathouse Cemetery with Brent Boatwright officiating. Mr. Malone died Wednesday, Nov. 11, at his residence. He was born Sept. 28, 1928 to Romie and Sarah Malone in Davilla. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1946. On April 1, 1952, he married Lila Ruth Davis in Heidenheimer. He served in the Naval Air Corps, 1946-1954. He also worked for American Desk, Best Rite Chalkboard, and the Ponderosa Motel. Survivors include his wife; two sons, .. and ..; three daughters, .., .. and ..; two sisters, .. of Temple and .. of Marlin; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Scott and White Hospice and Home Care. Visitation will be 6-8 pm today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
